Building Information Modeling - BIM
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital working method for the networked planning, implementation and management of buildings. All relevant building information is brought together in a central, three-dimensional model and used throughout the entire life cycle of a building.
What is BIM?
BIM describes not just a 3D model, but an integral planning process in which geometry, technical data, quantities, costs and deadlines are linked together. Changes are made centrally in the model and are available to all project participants at all times.
Our BIM services
We use BIM as an efficient tool for technical building services and support projects with, among other things:
- BIM-supported 3D modeling with Revit
- Specialist model creation for electrical engineering
- Coordination and agreement with other trades
- Collision checks and planning optimization
- Derivation of consistent 2D plans from the 3D model
Advantages of BIM
The use of BIM offers numerous advantages for planning, execution and operation:
- Higher planning quality thanks to early collision and error detection
- Transparency and traceability of all planning statuses
- Efficient coordination between all specialist disciplines
- Cost and schedule reliability thanks to more precise planning principles
- Sustainable data use over the entire building life cycle
